Tuesday - May 26  "A Scout is Friendly"
Regular Meeting.
OA elections if we have at least 5.
Possibly start the Cycling Merit Badge.
Meal Planning for Rafting trip.
NEED TO KNOW>>>>>>>>>Who is going Rafting??
When- June 12 - June 14, Camping two nights and Rafting on Saturday.
Where: Endless River Rafting near Bryson City, NC
Camping at Smoky Mountain Campground near Bryson City
Cost per person:$62 total: $35 for rafting IF we have at least 12 go + $12 camping fee for both nights +$15 food
We need to decide if we will be eating fast food going up and returning or taking sandwich fixings.
I am thinking that we can leave 4pm that Friday and return early afternoon Sunday (~2.5 hour one way)

OA Elections....we need at least five scouts in attendance to complete election...elections must be completed this month.
CAMP CARDS!!!! Money and/or returned cards are due this week. Please bring to the meeting on Tuesday as I have to settle account with council on Friday.
Information concerning possible rafting trip in June will be available for scouts to vote on.

Tuesday, April 21
Regular Troop Meeting led by ASPL
Please Bring money for Exporee: $35 (camping fees and troop meals) + $5.50 per Saturday
lunch plate (choice of hot dog, chicken or pizza);

Optional costs: $15 per T-shirt (need size), $15 per cap, $6 dog tag souvenir.
Can anyone provide wood for burning in the above ground firepit?
OA scouts need to plan departure for Dixie on Friday, including needed gear (tents, etc.),
and who is driving and riding with whom.
Lower Rank scouts work on needed requirements - first aid, directions without compass,etc;
Need adults for possible Board of Review.

Regular Troop Meeting run by SPL or ASPL. Scouts need to plan meals for Exporee (We need to know who plans on going also...see info below for details) Lower Ranks need to work on completing SC and FC ranks. Success on Registrations for Camp Old Indian for those who turned in their choices (see chart below): If you see anything that is a problem, let me know. (Click "read more" to see chart)

Troop Meeting -Tuesday, April 7
Regular Meeting led by SPL
Possible requirements: Finding way day/night without a compass, make sure ALL lashings have been learned, camp gadget, first aid for 2nd class and 1st class.
Begin planning for Exporee for weekend of May 1-3(meals, duties,etc)
If you have sold 35 or more camp cards, bring in the money and you will be entered in the weekly drawings for GameStop Card.
